How does the Child Care Subsidy (CCS) work for your childcare centres?
Your CCS depends on your family’s income and activity test. Our Centre Leaders will help estimate your daily gap fees during your tour.
What are your opening hours?
Raceview Kindy is 6am to 6pm, Plainland Kindy is 6am to 6pm and Somerset Kids is 6.30am to 6pm
What is included in the daily fees at Raceview and Plainland Kindergarten?
Yes, our daily fees are all-inclusive. We provide fresh, healthy meals prepared by our on-site chef, along with premium nappies, wipes, sun protection and wet bags.
Which Ipswich and Lockyer Valley primary schools does your OSHC bus service?
Can children from other local schools enrol in your Vacation Care holiday programs?
Yes! Our Vacation Care program is open to all primary school-aged children in the local community, although bookings are essential as places fill quickly please call your closes centre to find out more!
What age groups do you accept at your childcare and early learning centres?
We welcome children from 6 weeks of age through to our Government Approved Kindergarten program for 3–5 year olds.
Is your Kindergarten program Queensland Government-Approved and funded?
Yes, our Kindergarten program is Government Approved and delivered by a qualified Early Childhood Teacher following the Early Years Learning Framework. Our centres are very lucky to have two Early Childhood teachers to deliver our kindy program in our centres!
Do parents need to pack meals and food at Raceview Child Care?
No, we’re a fully catered centre and provide morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and a late snack, all prepared fresh on-site.
What do children need to bring for long day care and kindergarten?
We recommend a labelled water bottle, a few spare changes of clothes, a wide-brimmed hat and any comfort items your child may need along with spare sheets for nap time.
